MD/PhD Program
UAB School of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program leading to a PhD and MD. This is a joint program between the UAB Graduate School and The University of Alabama School of Medicine. Follow the application process on the MD/PhD program web site.

Admissions and Application Information

Based on interests and academic background students may enter the Graduate Program in the Department of Neurobiology through "feeder" programs at UAB in Cell and Molecular Biology, UAB Neuroscience, and the UAB MD/PhD Program, as well as by a Direct Admission process. In all cases students must first complete the appropriate Graduate School Application which can be submitted online using the links below. It is requested that all students seeking admission to the Neurobiology Graduate Program should complete the Neurobiology Department Information Request Form below. This information may help us assist you in determining the best path for you to enter our program. Students seeking direct admission should contact the Neurobiology Graduate Program Director for additional instructions.
